I've never been able to but some piggies do train themselves & poo in the same place every time. Mainly the do it where they eat, drink or sleep x

I would say mine are about 80% litter trained.
They rarely wee outside of their litter tray, although they do poo, but that is easy enough to sweep up.

I think the secret is offering several large hay trays with good quality hay, and as they spend so much time in them eating hay, this seems to be where all of the wee and a lot of the poo ends up.

I also change the hay trays daily to ensure they will always be quite happy to spend a lot of time in there!

Will try that thankyou.

I have hay trays and trays under all the hides, which do catch most wees, except a bottom-width around the hay trays as they often sit outside the tray, eat the hay inside and pee where they're sitting!

They are however, all three, 100% 'trained' not to pee on the carpet (even behind the curtains) during floor time. I have no idea how that happened but it's bloody brilliant!

Mine have a 32litre underbed storage box with a hemp based bedding (hemparade from zooplus) and loads of hay. I change this every day. They do most of their wees and poos in there. I put mats over the cage liner inside their hides and near any high wee areas. Took a bit of time to work out where they were doing most of their wees. Got it sussed now. Until it changes ofcourse!
