ok i have got to new boars but they are not true brothers as some of you know the trouble i went through.

anyway i was just watching them and the new one (brandy) keeps having ago at marble

anyway marble has now gone behind his dome and now wont cone back out?
any advise
 
they will still be bonding, and working out who's dominant. just keep your eye on them but they should be ok O0
 
i hope so the new one keep sort of grumbling at him,
and also he wont let him go near the water botter to get a drink?
otherwise he sort of pounces on him?
 
have you got two of everything such as waterbottles and food bowls? :)

i have had them both since monday but they have only just started pestering each other?

do your piggies sort of have fits were they start sort of jumping and stuff around the cage? ?

that sounds like popcorning! it means they are happy
 
oh thank god for that brandy was just doing it it looks very funny (mabe he is pleased with himself for bullying marble.)

id get another water bottle if he wont let him anywhere near it.. ive been lucky with my boys duke was a bit snappy at archie when i first got him but archie learnt how to use his teeth lol so duke only nags him every so often now! my boys share a water bottle and food dish etc fine too
 
yup the so called fits are popcorning! so i dont think you have anything to worry about, but best get two of everything anyway O0 has you seen marble popcorning?

sounds like a typical boar to me ::) bob does that to munchie sometimes ::)

i love seeing piggies popcorn its so funny. but is a good sign, they definately must be happy :)
 
well thats the first time i seen brandy popcorning but marble has not yet done it.

does this mean he is unhappy? :(
 
no lol no doesnt mean hes unhappy. he will still be settling in. you will see him do it, just give him some time. hes probably more timid or shy than brandy :)

he he that is funny but mine would probably rather use there teeth on me.

well i hope so cuz i would hate to think one of them was unhappy?

Don't worry first time i saw popcorning i was sure it was a fit :o :o :o
