Hi, we have got space down the side of our un-used garage outside with a low hedge and trees on the other side for a run for our piggies. We are planning on having it as high as the beginning of the sloping roof to make it easier for me to get in and rake piggy poo. I've got three boars who are having the snip on 4th August and I'm wondering what combination of girls and boys I could fit in a 21ft long by 4ft wide run with hutches at one end.

Well that run sounds amazing!

Unfortunately with boars, if you get them neutered, they'll still fight if girls are around. Neutering doesn't change their behaviour, like with dogs/cats/rabbits, apparently, it just stops them being able to reproduce. So if you had four neutered boys with some girls, the boys would probably fight.

So you could either just have the four boys together (if they get on) and then no need to neuter them.

Or have it divided into four smaller runs, and each boy separately, and then the boys can be with as many girls as will fit.

In that case I'll just have Sweep neutered and get him a girl as whilst he's not aggressive, he really gets fed up with Fudge trying to hump him or Dillon trying to do something which looks like an attempted kiss. So if I put Fudge and Dillon in the outside run, how many other little boys could I rescue? I'm not too fussed about having girls as my shameful secret is that I adore boars :red
