So the sore has eventually healed over that I posted about before but today I've noticed that area has changed. Like he's missing his pee hole, does that make sense? I don't know if it's meant to disappear inside like it has but when I press his belly, it pops out again and grosses me out but still I've never seen it in so far. Should I take him vets again or am I over reacting? Also I need to know how to monitor his food intake? I mean I see him eating fresh food but I don't see him ever eat the dry food and if he does its like a bit and then he stops, maybe I'm just used to 2 guinea pigs eating food and it being gone within an hour where Africa's bowl is full almost all day. The hay in his cage is going down but not the stuff in the hay holder. He leaves most fresh food as well. =S

I don't know about your previous problems with the sores i'm afraid but if he is passing urine and poops ok then that shouldn't worry you that it looks a little different. A good way to monitor how much dry food he eats is to weigh out a certain amount and then before you empty and re-fill his bowl weigh it again. They will nibble a small amount and then go and do something else. Find out what his favourite veggies are and see if he eats more of them maybe. If the hay in his cage is going down then he is eating it and he has no need to eat it out of the hay holder if it is readily available without the need to do any work.
Oh and keep an eye on his weight, weigh him everyday and make notes of what he weighs each day and see if it goes up or down over a period of time.

Hope this helps x

It does, I don't think I have the best scales for that job tho, he doesn't feel any thinner and after I've put the veg in his cage he feels like a right fatty, it's just nowadays i never see him eating it. The other problem has gone, dunno where he was hiding it but its back lol =]

Get some battery powered kitchen scales for your supermarket, thats what we use

Try to get the metric/imperial type, the two types of weights are very useful at times.
