After waiting three months I’m giving this thought a lot of consideration I have decided to adopt another two female piggies
So that will put my group up to 7.
I have a friend sourcing bath sheets that are going to be big enough for the cage that I am going to build myself and I’m going to puppy pads underneath because the only way I’m going to get a cage big enough for the seven of them is if I build one myself that’s the conclusion I’ve come to.
Baby girls will have to be quarantined for a minimum of two weeks anyway which enables me to get more money to be able to get the components to make the cage with and be able to put some weight on the little ones so there is less chance of them being able to escape out of the enclosure because that’s the last thing I need

That sounds really nice Maddy, congrates on your new girl (when they arrive that is)

I really love groups of piggies I've only had a total of 5 in one group before but love the idea of many many more :)

You'll have to show us photos when they are all settled in together! :)
 
When I have everybody in together and all the cages built and everything and I have someone arranged to work my iPhone‘s camera I will get pictures I soon as I can

I look forward very much to seeing pictures of your new piggys when you have them settled. They are very lucky to be coming to such a caring owner.
 
I have decided to go with fleece on top rather than towels because apparently I didn’t notice but terrible stay wet to the touch where as we soaks through the fleece onto the absorbency letter underneath so I’ve got my friend looking at great big massive fleece blankets for king-size beds at the minute
 
He’s managed to find ones that are six foot square which is a brilliant start
 
Yes I’m looking forward to it as well because then I will be able to just climb in with them because the kids will be big enough for me to just do that it’s going to be open topped so I will just be able to climb and have some proper hands on pick time
 
Unfortunately my plan to extend my hair it’s going to have to be put back a bit because my flooring is scheduled to be done on the 21st of March and the last thing I want to be doing is stressing out baby guinea pigs as well as adults so it’ll probably be at the start of April that I get another two which is sad but that’s just how it is
