Hi all
I got my boy guinea pig, Picchu, neutered today so he can finally live with the others in 6 weeks.
We just got him home, and I've given him a small corner of my room for him to stay in for a few days. We don't have any fleece so I used some clean, old towels. All seems ok so far, he's already back to eating (fed him a bit of pepper, hay and a few nuggets.) Inbetween him eating the hay and nuggets, he sneezed like 5 times in a row and whilst doing so did a little poo (which is a good sign). Just wanted to make sure it's ok that he sneezed a bit? Doesn't seem too serious, I'm just checking he's fine. We have another vet appointment for him in 2 days for a checkup if everything is ok. He seems really sleepy now haha bless.

It sounds ok, just make sure his breathing is normal and there is no discharge from his nose. He is probably just irritated by the anaesthetic gas

Here's hoping he continues to do well. Keep counting down the days...
