A conversation with a rescue friend prompts this one...

After the very sad los of Peter Gurney, do you think that we will see someone "step into his shoes" as it were? I'm not suggesting anyone could ever replace him, but rather will we see another guinea pig guru emerge?
Someone who will have a high profile in the guinea pig world in general etc etc.

I think that phase of guinea health has gone and it will progress with several people that are 'gurus' in there right/area. So no, I don't think there will be another 'one'. But I am sure there will be several more, if you get what I mean :-\

I doubt it very much, Peter knew all there was to know and most other people have learnt from him and his books so I don't think there will be. There will be others who know as much but never anyone so prolific as Peter.............

We do still have Vedra at the CCT who taught Peter all he knew thank goodness :)
