I have a pair of guinea pigs which are both male, although one of them is very aggressive towards the other one. I'm not sure what is best for them as they have an entire room to run around other than their cage space as well as multiple food bowls, water, hay feeder ect. and still fight. Should I consider separating them?

When you say aggressive, what is actually happening? Have they had a full on blood drawing fight? If so, then yes they must be separated

Yes they've definitely drawn blood... I didn't want to separate them as I know they are sociable animals but I guess I will have to.

Drawing blood means their bond won’t work. Sorry it didn’t work out for them, but they can live happily as neighbours. Once you’ve separated you can’t have them together again, at all.

:agr:
Sadly, piggies only fight if they don’t like each other and a blood drawing fight is a sure sign their relationship is over. Ensure they can still live side by side so they can see, smell and talk to each other through the bars. That will stop loneliness but they can’t share a space anymore unfortunately
