I was cuddling with Pola this afternoon and looked at her face and around her eyes were a few little white things moving in and out of her fur. So I looked it up and came to the conclusion it was running lice because it was just like this:

I called my vet and he agreed it was lice after I described it to him and he prescribed Puppy & Kitten Revolution which is a 15mg dose and said to use it all. So I got home a few minutes ago and treated her with it.

I use the Revolution brand on my two cats every month (and in fact just gave them a dose today because I didn't know if the lice could pass between me to them).

Anyway, I was just looking at that site again and now I am hoping I didn't overdose her! and if I did, I don't know what the consequences are! here's to me not sleeping a whole lot tonight!

Flea or Die shampoo is ideal for small animals that have lice. I have never heard of P and K Revolution.

Revolution is just topical treatment for parasites that absorbs into the bloodstream...and the Puppy & Kitty Revolution is not a different formula, just a different dosage.

If she is acting ill whatsoever tomorrow I am going to take her to the vet so they can see her themselves.

I've heard Revolution (a.k.a. Advantage) is effective at dealing with lice. No experience of using it, or of dosage, but it's said to be a good spot-on treatment. I prefer to go with shampoos to physically get rid of the lice and comb them out though.

vets use revoloution a lot here.i am not sure of the dosage for pigs but it is used for pigs here often
