I know air freshener isn't a good idea to use on a guinea pig, I usually just spray the room. I feel bad now though, that I tried to spray as close to the cage as possible without harming them. The mist may have drifted onto the side of the cage. I DON'T THINK it got onto my piggy that was standing by the door, but if it did drift up onto him, what do I do?

Hello welcome to the forum.

Is he acting okay eating and drinking? I think he will be fine, just remember not to use it in the room in future by them. :)

They are acting ok, but then again it was only like 10 minutes ago, I panicked and came here right away.

Hi, and a warm welcome

If l remember corectly the gas used to deliver the spray is petrolium based , once it is relesed into the air
It vaperises very quickly,
I would imagin as long as your pig did not breath in to much , it wouldent be to hamfull
Though on saying that , l realy think it would be safest to monitor pig closely for the next 24 hours
And if you knotice any thing out of the ordanary , see your vet :tu:
