I have 3 piggies that can get snuffly noses from dusty hay or during the winter months when the air is cold and dry, I've heard that an air purifier is a must have for all year round, a humidifier for winter and a dehumidifier for summer, do I have this right? Is there a machine that can do all three of these or even two at the same time to save some money? I'm not looking to cheap out, I definitely want a good machine that will do the job but I'm not rich either! I have 8 piggies living in a large room so I'll be in need of something more powerful for sure, it'd just be nice to have one that's multi-functional if there is even something like that.

Has anyone here used these machines for piggies that get similar issues to mine, did you find it helped? I also suffer with asthma and allergies so it would benefit me too.

The UK isn't normally regarded as having a cold dry winter climate; humidifiers are generally used much more in the US. UK rodent-keepers generally lean much more towards requiring dehumidifiers; mine gets about level use throughout the year.

I have a dehumidifier and a H E P A air filter, the dehumidifier dosent seem to make any difference! But the air filter that runs 24 7 seems to keep any dust at bay,

I would check the humidity of the room using a common device. Then you can make a choice. I have some friends suffering for allergic issues and they say that air conditioning help, they have a machine which works in summer producing cool air and in winter warm air.
I could not live without air conditioning... but here we have another climate.
If you feel better into shopping centres/supermarkets you have the right answer...
