We've had to make the difficult decision to euthanize Agent Nibbles. His condition has steadily worsened, and the vet has run out of ideas as to what to do. His back legs barely work, he's lost feeling in his lower half, he's got a mysterious fungal disease that antibiotics, topical treatment,, and fungal baths have done nothing to sooth, and he's itchy itchy itchy. Poor little guy.

I'm soothed a little by the vet's assurances that i've done right by him, and gone above and beyond, but she agrees that it's now his time.

So, tomorrow morning we'll be putting Agent Nibbles to rest. :( We'll be feeding him all his favorite vegetables tonight, and snuggling him a lot. <3
 
I'm sorry. Your doing the right thing by thinking what best for him. Your in my thoughts and my prayers.
 
I am so sorry to hear this, but you are absolutely doing the right thing.
It is the kindest gift we have to offer our piggies, and you are very brave to allow your precious Agent Nibbles to pass peacefully.
 
It is a brave decision you've made for Agent Nibbles, you are doing the right thing, not letting him suffer.
You are a great piggy mom, & have his needs at the forefront.

He clung to life this morning, waiting for me to get home from work. And then passed away in the car on the way to the vet. T_T

I'm gonna plant roses over his ashes, once I get them back. My heart aches; he was a special piggy.
 
I am so sorry. You have done everything you can for him. He knew he was very much loved.

I made this to commemorate him and his cagemate who passed away a few months back. Now I'll see this each year in my FB memories and think of them both.
