Took Alf to the vet again on Friday following more teeth issues (he's had ongoing toothie problems since I rescued him in December). This time his lower incisors broke off and his upper incisors seemed to be overgrowing as a result.
Following the vet's advice last time I went in, I have been feeding him mainly a variety of hays, dried herbs/ plants, veg for vitamin C and very few pellets. His molars are now looking fine for the moment and she noted that he was in 'very good body condition'. His weight was healthy despite the almost cutting out of pellets. Woo hoo! Well done Alf.
