Hi,

I ordered this on vets recommendations for Joe to eat after his bladder stone-removal;

Amazon.se

It arrived today, and sadly Joe is not around anymore. Would it benefit my other boy, who hasn't had any stones, or should I just send it back?

You could use it for your other boy, since it looks like a herbal diuretic preparation that helps to make bigger pees, which will prevent the build up of bacteria and stuff in the bladder.
 
I always have a bottle of Rodicare uro at home to use if I notice the beginning of an UTI. I'm also a big fan of Rodicare akut.
Stored in the fridge, you can keep and use it quite a while. Especially if it's not opened yet.

If your piggy doesn't have any problems with the bladder or an UTI at the moment, I wouldn't use it.

Can I ask how often you give it? I have just ordered it as my girl has calcium deposits quite a lot, she drinks occasionally but her poops can be quite soft at times.
I am very careful how much veg I give her but thought this may help
 
I usually give Rodicare uro twice a day, 0,2 or 0,3 ml. If I give it for a longer time than two or three weeks, I often switch to once a day.

Rodicare akut is very good for soft poops. I give it two or three times a day for as long as the soft poops last plus one day. Depending on how soft the poops are also 0,2 or 0,3 ml.
When a piggy has to take an antibiotic, I always give it once a day for as long as the antibiotic is necessary (more often if the antibiotic causes soft poops).
 
Now I've tried some of AlfaVets products and I'm very satisfied with their Akut and Pulmo. Akut works fast and is very easy to give! My Kongoboy has a very narrow nostril and sometimes he breaths very odd. Two different vets cant find any other problem than the narrow nostril. When he starts to breath that way I give him Pulmo for a week and he sounds so much better righf away.

I'm very lucky I still hasn't tried that UROcare.
