Alfalfa hay?

Hello! Since my guinea pig had a baby ive been trying to offer her and baby alfalfa hay. Problem is when I offer it to mom the other piggy gets jealous and takes it from her. And when I try to offer it to baby it doesn’t really understand the concept since it just nibbles on random hay found on the cage floor right now. I was thinking, other piggy is about 9 weeks old. Is she young enough that she can still benefit from the hay too? That way I can just put a handful in the cage and mom and baby can have the necessary amount?

@BandccandP Baby will be fine eating regular hay. I wouldn't worry too much about the other piggy eating the alfalfa. It's not something they need to have long term but a small amount won't harm.
