should you keep a lot in in the cage with him or no? I keep a nice stack so he can get in it and do what he wants, just wasnt sure if it was bad ot keep it stocked?

Most piggies love to play in a stack of hay. However, it gets often trampled down and soiled, so it might not be a bad idea to have some hay for play and some for eating where your boy can't sit on it.

Guinea pigs should always have a good supply of hay in the cage, so what you're doing is right. Mine also like to bury in it and sleep in it rolleyes but yes they should always have some available

I havent had the problem of it being soiled as of yet.. He pretty much goes in same spot now.. So it tends to work out ok. I just didnt know if it was overdoing it by haing quite a bit in there since he eats it.. He doesnt lay in the hay lol.. He pushes all the bedding and hay out of the way and just lays on the bottom of the cage.. weird lil guy...

Ah how cute. No, you don't really have to worry about giving too much hay. What you're doing seems fine to me
