Does anyone else find alfalfa king timothy hay extremely dusty?

I normally get dustfreehay timothy hay but thought I'd try the alfalfa king instead. Although the hay itself looks lovely, I'm finding there's more dust in the bag than hay!

Any recommendations for a better hay?

oxbow timothy hay - pricey but cant beat it for quality in my book.

I have found the Alfalfa King Timothy Hay varies in dustiness when we used to buy it

Where do you buy it from @sport_billy I've just had a look and found £20 for 2.5kg  I think that's a bit more expensive than I was looking for haha

this lasts around 3 weeks if given alongside a good quality meadow hay. It is expensive though. Sometimes our local pet supply store has it cheaper. Hope the boys are doing okay by the way

I normally give dustfree hay soft hay alongside their timothy hay but I ordered 5 boxes of soft hay and they were nowhere near as nice as normal.. Very brown looking so the boys aren't fussed so I'm just using timothy hay alone at the moment.

I thought it was quite nice and dust free until about 3 minutes ago, when I read your post and I decided to stick my hand into one of our bags. There is quite a lot of dust at the bottom :(

If you can. look at the bags when you buy them, the dusty ones are obvious. I always give mine a good shake out into an old duvet or pillowcase before giving to me piggies so it isn't dusty :)
