Hmm, I don't know what it could be, but I hope she is ok. Hopefully someone else will come along and give you some advise :)

If Alice feels bloated, then I would advise seeing a vet Asap bloat can be deadly and come on quickly.

If you hold her and tap her belly does she sound 'hollow'? How is she in herself ie is she sitting hunched? Not eating?.

I have no idea what the lump could be. I would strongly advise she see's a Cavy Savy Vet for a health-check and to check there is nothing untowards going on.
 
she seems okay in herself at the moment buti've got her in a cage on her own to moniter her food and water and pooping. She has been eating hay and wandering about :)

It's a sunday my vets are close d*sad face* xx

You know your pig Lexy, I can only advise what I would do. I can't see Alice, I don't know whats going on with her. I certainly would NEVER advise anyone not to see a vet if they suspected there pig was ill.

Alice needs to see a vet about the lump to get it checked out, I would strongly advise finding a Cavy Savy vet to take her to tomorrow if you don't think it's urgent enough today.

She seems okay at the moment still her usual complaining self, so i'll get her checked out tomorrow. :) THankyou flinstones, for your advice x
 
I will re-iterate Flintstones advice in view of the thread info...

Please take her to see a vet tomorrow...it is a wheekday and you can get her in for a standard consultancy fee

Ashcroft Hardwick vets have a good write up for exotics...I know it sounds silly but reptile vets can be (not all) the best for guineas too as htey are extoics trained

she was being fussy , she's eating now . MY mother fed her the wrong pe llets while I was away. she's munching them no wxx
