It would seem my girls can be a tad fussy.
They will eat beetroot if it's grated but not chopped.
Peppers have to be sliced to be eaten and only the correct colour will do.
Carrots can be chopped, grated or whole depending on how they feel...sometimes slaves guess wrong and carrot is not eaten.
Have you got fussy piggies that will only eat food that is presented correctly?

How funny. Nope they arent fussy, but i think its because theyre in a large group. I think there motto is 'eat as much as you can as quick as you can before some other pig steals it'. So they will eat anything... chopped or not.

But i suppose saying that my pair of boars arent fussy either.

My piggies like the cucumber in chopped strips not any other way haha, then there fussy with the colours of there pepper and so each cage has a different coloured pepper !
they are fussy with how big certain foods are, some they like cut up small others the prefer big chunks of,
the life of a pampered piggie !

Haha that is so typical of piggies! Mine will only eat cucumber if it is sliced, only eat carrot if it is grated, only eat peppers if they have it once a week!

Mine will only eat green peppers and any beans have to be cut horizontally not length-ways. Some foods she will also only eat once a month, if given twice it will be left without fail! rolleyes

haha you have super fussy pigs
Mine will eat
•lettuce either cut in chunks or whole leaves, depending on how lazy the slave feels
•bell peppers (red all the time, others on occasion)
•carrots all the time any way, sliced or whole
•most fruits, chunked
•most things I feed them (they trust me sometimes)

gidget doesnt care. I cut her baby carrots cause they are the fat ones and i just break off a chunk of green pepper. Lettus its doesnt matter at all. she is not big on the fruits she likes her apple quartered but she never finishes it and oranges she will eat those but I only give her them every so often. I have not tried the beans yet. can they eat buttercup squash i think thats what it was called.

Mine generally aren't fussy though depending what they get in their salad on a particular day some veggies are snapped up first (pepper first, then cucumber, and carrot is always last to be eaten). But most of mine are like Amanda's - in a group so there's more competition and a desire to eat whatever they can before somepig else does!

My pairs aren't that fussy either. My lads can be a bit picky if they're in that sort of mood, but my married couple are happy with whatever the slaves bring them. :)
