Here are Rusty, the labrador and Humbug, the cat enjoying a cosy moment last night. Rusty was 8 years old when he came to live with us (he's now nearly 12) as his owners didn't want him any more and was a cat chaser - who says you cant teach an old dog new tricks

Oh they are so cute cuddled up together!

I don't know how anyone could just not want their pets without good reason. When we moved here we rehomed our cat because he was 12 and I didn't want to put him through the flight and then the quarantine thing here.

Broke my heart to leave him though, thankfully I know he is being well looked after by a good friend and I get regular updates on him.
