I know its called something else now but does anyone know anywhere in the West Midlands that sells it . I have tried the web site but from the list they provide the shops dont stock it (some sell other Allen and Page stuff) they seem reluctant to order it especially for someone they don't know.

Thank You

Denise

HI Denise,I am sorry I don;t know but if you find out I would like to know as I also come from teh West Midlands and need to try a new food for Herbie but am trying 3 different things and he doesn't seem to like any of it.

Good luck in your search

Sarah

Hello I know Cobweb Cavies use it & they are based in Nuneaton. It might be worth going on their website & asking where they get it. Just hoping that my geography isn't too far off & Nuneaton isn't too far away from you lol!

Thank you Hils Nuneaton ia about quite a long way as I am near to jct 7 of the M6 (opposite side of the west nilands to Nuneaton)
but I will check it out.

Doh sorry! Try all the horsey places around you. Thats where I get my Allen & Page from. They also sell chicken food etc

I haven't found anywhere around here that stocks it Denise. I still end up going over to The Hungry Horse in Solihul for most of my stuff!

Let me know if you do find a stockist.

Hi Kate

I have just tried several numbers off their website and none of them stock it.

For the record in Nottingham you can get it from Dorket head farm. Number is in the book. Its between Arnold and Calverton. Costs about £9.80 for 20kg. They also stock Megazorb £5.60 / sack. And bales of hay which you can choose your self for about £3.60. They are realy realy nice people - although some of the staff still don't realise they stock Megazorb so you have to tell them its at the back right of the store barn ;)

Now you did not tell me the last bit I would of felt a right banana if I had got someone that did not know they stocked it ;D

I'm in the West Midlands (Herefordshire area) and my local agricultural supply shop order it in for me thankfully! Not a lot of help to you I know. 98) You'd think someone would order it in for you! :-\

This might seem a very silly question but what is this food? What is in it and is it any better than the shop stuff ie tesco. I am looking for a new food for my piggies as I have tried and tested a few well not me literally lol! Also what is a good price for this food?

We use it in the rescue. It is a good feed although I would recomend pellets if you only have a few piggies in order to prevent selective feeding. Mine waste quite a bit of the Alan and Page mix although different piggies leave different bits ::) Pellets are more expensive though and as our numbers vary between 70 - 100 guinea at any time we can't afford pellets:(

70-100 guineas? where is your rescue?

sorry internet has been off since yesterday. Have tried ringing round but no luck one place might order it but you have to go to the shop first and it wad a fair distance with no guarantee they will order it

Thought as much, not just something they like, but something easier to get hold of. ;) Do you have a food in mind? :)

I have managed to get some, in fact I have two different ones, there is the ordinary Allen and Page and there is the Natural Petfood Company (also Allen and Page) fruit and fibre. :)
