Allergic to my piggy?

I think i may be allergic to Polly i have Psoriasis which is a bad skin condition and has spread up my arms recently (where she normally sits) and broken out quite bad in the usually places on my hands and feet to the point i couldn't walk the other day, i love Polly and dont want to have to get rid of her has anyone else with skin conditions had a reaction to the piggies? i am trying to work out if i have eaten anything over the past few months or changed anything else to see if i can find another trigger but cant?

I need help lol xx

I've heard that allergic owners are usually allergic to the pee and/or the hay. If it's the hay, some claim that using hay cubes are better for their allergies. Though, the hay cubes do not have long strands to help wear down their teeth as much as the hay bales. Hope I helped a little.

i Am allergic to the fur but that has only even made me snce in the past, as have been around dogs, and hamster etc, but i take anti histemens (icant spell) everyday for other things so its not been a problem, i am hoping it is something else that has set it off as i wear gloves when i clean her out and replace the hay etc so it doesnt get in the cuts on my hands, will try the cubs after i use this hay as just bought a 3.5kg bag today lol x

I was allergic to my piggies when they were babies. It was their fluff that set it off. I had red raw eyes, all bloody shot, itchy and weepy.
Thankfully not that they are out of the baby stage I'm fine with them.

I hope you can figure out some way of cuddling your piggie without being ill
