I gave five of my guinea pigs a bath tonight with gorgeous guineas,I have used this a good few times and never had a problem with any of them?so I'm not 100% - this is the only thing I can think of though!

But peewee's skin is really red,and even if i touch her fur lightly she is crying! Please if anyone has any advice on what I can do to comfort her until I get her to the vets!:...

I'm having such a bad two weeks with vet trips!

I have taken a picture of her and of Daisy just to show the difference between them!

This is peewee's sore skin!it doesn't look as red as it actually is!

and this is daisy's normal skin

You can see the difference in the two!

Poor thing. It would be odd to have an allergic reaction if they've been ok with it before. Could there still be some shampoo on her skin, did you rinse really well? That's the only thing I can think off other than contacting Chrissie at Gorgeous Guineas.

I did rinse really well,I wonder what it is,I know gorgeous guineas is perfectly safe!

And it is odd that she was fine before!

She is quite sore with it!:...

I'd defo contact Chrissie - if something went wrong, I'm sure she'd want to know. Did you do a patch test or have your treated with something else recently?

Just wanted to say that it is possible, and not that uncommon to react to something that has previously caused no, or little reaction. That's why hair dyes tend to suggest a test patch should be done prior to each time that it is used.
Poor piggie, maybe your vet could prescribe something to ease the irritation?
