Allie has been all alone over the past few days. she's separate from the adults for a while, until her and the new piggle are grown up a bit, hopefully it'll then be easy to avoid bullying. my 3 older girls are all sweet, but one is a bit of a greedy gus. ironically, that one is named Tiny...

Allie was a bit dirty, and not her usually shiny white self, so this is her post bath yesterday, ready to meet her new friend:

upon meeting, Allie livened up for the first time in days, and proceeded to greet new little pig:

poor little pig was then nearly hoisted into the air when someone spoke and Allie decided to hide under the new little pig:

the little cream is waiting on a name, as i can't think of any to suggest to my boyfriend. our other guinea pigs have had what i think of as matching names:- Tilly, Tiny, Rinnie and Allie

also two named Molly and Winnie (rest in peace sweeties :( )

so, any suggestions on the name front? :)

p.s. little piggle is paler than that, but my camera isn't brilliant. she also doesn't have bright red eyes :p

They are both soo sweet ^)

What about Annie, Amy, Milly or Lilly, all nice names that end in ie or y

Aww she is adorable and Allie seems to approve.

I'm hopeless with names. What about Kate as in Kate and Allie though you may be to young to remember that far back;)

:p not a clue. i've kinda nicknamed her Mac, as her colour is pretty much identical to a caramac chocolate bar :p but so far, that's all i've got. i would suggest Carrie to him, but that's much too stephen king for me

not sure if Chris will :P tis his piggle after all. i'm not sure he cares as much as i do about matching names though

Oh what a beautiful lil girl! I'd love a white aby. Beautiful.

i agree. i love white guinea pigs, but there's something about albinos that kinda scares me, i think it must be the eyes. Allie has big black eyes (if you look closely enough, they're brown). i fell in love with her as soon as i saw her. she was the reason i bought piggles from pets at home :( i'd never seen another like her anywhere, although i'm sure there must be a fair few. so we went and bought her, and as you should always buy in pairs, i took my boyfriend, and he picked Molly as his christmas present. his first ever pet lasted less than two months. and as much as you shouldn't pick favourites, i bonded much more with Molly too :(

i get the feeling that that's going to take me a while to get over

Cammie instead of Carrie as a shortening of caramac?

What a lovely little sweetie!

they seem to be getting along really well. kept them in the house for a few hours (5-6), then put them out in their hutch. they do seem to be getting along fine. probably because Allie is such a timid little girl, and 'mac' is in a new place. i've been obsessively checking on them, and they're currently cuddled under a lot of hay

Mac is gorgeous!

For names how about:

Susie/Suzy
Cindy
Sally
Bonnie
Betty/Betsy
Mindy
Jenny/Jennie
Lucie/Lucy
Polly
Jacky/Jackie
Heidi
Mallory
Nellie/Nelly
Carly/Carlie
Missy

"Mac" is such a cutie! Allie is adorable too. Glad they seem to be getting along.

Thinking along the Mac lines, if you like that as a nickname maybe try to think of names that incorporate that somehow. Like Macey, Mackenzie, or Mackenna.

just thought i'd update. they are now almost inseparable. i thought you might enjoy the pictures. i do, and Chris still hasn't met little Mac, so i've been snapping shots almost constantly.

my two youngest girlies :<>

AWWW - they are simply and utterly adorable! xoxo

i agree. they're both beautiful little girls. despite losing Molly, i've warmed really quickly to Mac. she's such a beautiful little character. i've kind of made it my goal to spend at least a little time with them every days, to get them to be as tame as i can. my older girlies will get a lot of attention, but not daily. Tilly has already had one stroke, so i don't want to scare her. the older girlies are so timid...
