Dindeen
Junior Guinea Pig
My guinea pigs had some health problems. Almond (brown one) was in a really bad condition and I had to syringe feed him for a week. Treatment was late as the only vet whole could perform the procedure was out of town for two weeks. No other vet wanted to handle their case as most vets in our country treat only dogs, cats or livestock. I was incredibly frustrated, but my dad wisely said that I was doing the best that I could so I should not worry about the things that I could not control (the vet's leave).
The boys are separated most of the day so that we can watch how much they eat. Taking pictures was such a challenge because they ran around each other excitedly. The orange-ish splatter on the towel are drops of vitamin C syrup.
They are doing well now and Almond is rapidly gaining weight. He also eats like a horse. Hopefully he'll be 100% a-ok by the end of August.
