Almond's New Hidey House

So I bought a cuddle cup for Almond but he didn't like it so much. I put a towel on it and he would hide under the towel, turning it to his own little 'fortress'- at that point I realized that there's no substitute for a hidey house and my little piggy really wanted one.

Since I couldn't find a pigloo for Almond, I got this plastic shoebox that's about 29x16x12 cm ( my pair of size 8 rubber shoes can fit in it ). I put some wood shavings and hay in it, and my piggy hopped right in! I didn't even bribe him with a carrot yet :(|)

Oh, and Almond had Christmas dinner with us. He ate his own little bowl of 'spaghetti' (hay with grated carrots).
 
When I moved his food bowl around earlier to clean some spots in his enclosure and put in some fresh veggies, Almond stuck his nose out of the hidey house. I went over to rub his chin and he purred. It was really short and soft, the first time that I've heard him make that sound. I wanted to hear it again but he already dashed for the carrots :))
 
Aww thats lovely. So cute he had Christmas dinner with you, he is a little sweetie.
 
I used to bathe Almond every three days when he had lice, then every week, now I do it every other week (or just when he's too greasy). He used to flail and run around when it's bath time but today, he just sat on the floor as I bathed his body. He still hated getting his face cleaned but he wasn't as flaily as before.

My sister dries him up with towels:

8... He's growing up so fast! Acting all prim and proper now - when bathing at least, he still popcorns around like crazy in his enclosure and hops onto people's shoulders when he's cuddled.
