Am I allergic to my boys?

Joey&Gizmo, I've been dealing with exactly what you described for a few months now...but in NO WAY, will I get rid of my babies! lol I take an allergy pill every day so that I can hug and cuddle Abby and Molly.

I'm the same i still let them hug me and i give them lots of cuddles. I just make sure I'm not going out anywhere after the cuddles as my neck is so red. :)
 
I got Nigel about three weeks ago now and that coincided with me getting conjunctivitus - or that's what i thought it was.

I administed some of that antibiotic eye treatment but it took about two weeks for it to go completely. My eyes itched like made and I had little scabs on my eyelids - no gunk or anything. Red and swollen eyelids.

I've never had anything like it before and I worried it was Nigel. It cleared up for about a week but the other day the little scabs appeared again.

I am keeping my eye on it and making sure I do not touch my eyes when I've handled him and to wash them afterwards.

I'm still not sure whether it could be Nigel or not. It seems quite a lot of people on here are allergic in some way shape or form to guinea pigs? Why is that do you think. I've got four rabbits and they don't bother me at all.
