Well Marmalade clearly thinks so as he took it upon himself to clean my entire forearm whilst sat on my lap last night :))

A subtle hint to one's owner... "please have a bath" :o

Maybe he was just giving you kisses because he loves you that much. Or you smelt like nummy-nummy food he just had to taste
 
^Maybe there's something they think is tasty on the skin, like a sweet moisturiser or something. Or perhaps it's a certain natural smell.

It's interesting that they pick certain arms...
 
I was wondering... I wonder if they're licking salt off us... because I know sometimes my hands have a certain salty flavor, gross, I know.
 
i've figured there's definately something in the salt theory as my piggie loves to lick me when ive come in from the gym so obviously I'm a tad sweaty then (gross!) :))
 
Ok...I so read the subject matter in a different context! School kids avert your eyes to this thread now. Honestly is it just me with a dirty mind? Hmmmm, perhaps I'll just keep those thoughts to myself.rolleyes

So having read the theme, nah your furies love to say thanks and partake some salt I'm sure of it. Bloss does it loads to me, piggy kisses that is...oh dear lord, you can tell it's Friday and my brain is frazzled from work!mallethead
 
You must taste nice! My George has to 'wash me' when we have a cuddle, he's now taken to licking my chin and nose which is sweet but also a little yucky when you remember what else goes in their mouth!
 
Dont worry ** probably squeaky clean ive had this situation and al it is is that we have salt on there skin which they really like! they lick it off your sin like a treat and sometimes can bond with you! If oyur allergic like i am oyu might want to get saltlicks from somewheres that sells them like a petco
 
I actually fell asleep with my piggie Leo sitting on my chest, I eventually woke up after 15 minutes as he was licking my face. x) I love him so much, bless him! <3
 
Haha! Cute! Zoey used to do that as well! Used to nibble my fingers and arms!
 
Awww, I miss Mr M's licky kisses so much. On the up side Rocket, Yoshi and Moonpig have started with the ocasional lick ( usually preceded by a fair amount of nibbling so you have to be brave and hang in there and hope it's kisses that follow and not nips! ) but Wallace has never given a licky kiss -if he ever did I think I'd faint from shock!@)

Ive always thought this. a few of mine lick my nose when I'm back from work! gross!
