I feed my guinea twice a day, in the morning and in the afternoon and he gets plenty of hay. My step mum saw a picture of his food this morning and said I was feeding him too much. Which made me wonder how much am I supposed to feed him?

There’s some good guides on the forum threads.
Mine get about a handful of pellets each morning, mixed with a little guinea pig muesli.
They get a pasta bowl full of mixed veggies spread through the day and unlimited hay.
I have 3 piggies who are permanently hungry and I work from home which is why their veggies are spread through the day rather than just once or twice

It sounds like I feed my guinea pretty much the same as yours

Hi! Have a look at our sample diet picture. You can feed it twice daily if you wish to, but not more or split the single diet and one or two little extras if that is what your piggies like.
Long Term Balanced General And Special Needs Guinea Pig Diets

My herd of 5 get 4 small handfuls of pellets for breakfast, unlimited hay during the day and then a bowlful of veggies at night. Occasionally they get a couple of bowls of forage treats in the Rosewoods Naturals range.

I feed my Finn 3 servings of vegetables a day. He also gets pellets and hay throughout the day.
His vegetable consist of lettuce, cilantro, parsley, spinach, carrots, kale, and basil. Finn loves cilantro, parsley, and basil more than other veggies so I buy them in large quantity. Couple of times a week, Finn gets apple, blueberry, watermelon, melon, and other fruits in small quantity.
I feed all his herbs by hand. He loves eating, and I love to feed him. He is used to his routine so I can't change anything at this time.
