It appears that we have a hay shortage around here at the minute due to the bad weather
Our local Range (where I usually get the hay from) haven't had any in for for a week so I had to get 2 big bags from our local pet shop that doesn't sell live stock on Tuesday. Because my piggies are outdoors, they are going through mountains of hay in this cold weather. Well, my hubby went to the pet shop for me today to buy some more and the guy in the pet shop only had 2 small bags left! He explained to Chris about the hay shortage and said he was hoping to get some more on Monday but he couldn't be certain. Anyway, even though we still have 2 large bags of hay plus the 2 small ones left, chris rang me at work to warn me so after work, I ended up calling at P@H which has been demolished as I think people are panic buying and they haven't been having normal deliveries due to the snow. I think I went a bit mad as I ended up spending almost £30 on wood shavings, meadow hay, woodlands hay and guinea pig nuggets. I then called in at Asda to buy some Wagg guinea pig crunch and Wagg gerbil munch.
I would rather have too much than not enough but I am now thinking that may be I have over reacted
Am I mad?
