I wonder if I am really bad to my MIL. She is 85 this year, cant climb the stairs so has a bed in the living room. This means our piggies have human company 24/7 which they appreciate.

However........

I look at the space that single bed takes up and imagine how big a C&C cage I could build. I mean...I could get a C&C cage of 3 panels by 5 and easily double height.

Ummmmmm.............

How many piggies could I get in that space?........

Your as bad as me!

My kids have a beautiful wendy house in the garden and i can't help but think how happy my bonded boars would be with all that room!

Unfortunately the kids wont let go of it - and bribery isn't working either :))

I'll have it one day! :p

But where will they go when you go away in your caravan? This is the only issue i have with adopting more and more, we can't fit any more cages in our caravan or travel cages in our car.

YESS! Brillinat Idea!

Get saving or play the lottery :))

As a fellow caravanner it would be interesting to ask you your thoughts on this, we often say what is the point in spending about £80,000 on a motorhome and towing a small car when you could buy a really lovely luxury caravan and nice car to tow it with for that with plenty of change in your pocket. You can tow caravans abroad. I just dont get it, people must have money to burn!

Just wrangled hub out of his beloved dining table (which we haven't used once in years after we entended the kitchen). Just need him to find time to sell it now...

It's a normal thing to do! I had to wait for five years until I could have more than two piggies at a time, but that hasn't kept me from dreaming... and waiting for the time my dreams could come true!

Well our unit and current car were both second hand and total bill was about £20k. We have spent on average 40 nights away in van per year and we are now in our 9th year with van. Average spend per night is £12 incl electric.

Easter was a great site for £9 a night with electric (just had to use own sanitation).

August site in Dorset is £14 a night with electric on a PYO fruit farm.

We might exchange our van for a new one as we still get about £5k on trade in even after 10 years.

There are some good deals to be had if your looking to upgrade. Sorry i wasn't meaning to pry, just wondered what your thoughts were.

I think you are mad to buy a motorhome and a small car to tow. You dont get as much room in a motorhome for your money, unless you go for the huge mercedes one that costs £500,000

Exactly our thoughts, motor homes are double if not triple the price of a caravan. Have you ever been to the caravan show at the NEC?

Sorry going off topic here, were probably going to bore everyone else to death :))

I've planned a rescue in my boyfriends mums garden as the house will be left to us...plus an isolation room in the small bedroom ...

I feel bad but I can't help dreaming

We didn't go last year, but the 2 years before were good shows. Did you buy any cheese or sausages? :))
