Am I Ott Re Poop

I've had honey and pickle for a week now. They take food from my hand (when they are in the mood) they both love cuddles. Everything is going well except I'm paranoid about them being in a clean cage and scoop the poop about 3 times a day. I can't bear to see any. They are currently on a bed of care fresh and hay with some sawdust. I keep reading about people using lovely soft bedding such as fleece. How on earth do you keep it clean? My girls are indoor pets. They have a big cage with a wooden house in it.
Where would I put fleece? Just in their house? I want them to be cosy etc. Any suggestions greatly appreciated as I'm a new Guinea pig mum.

I prefer vetbed to fleece. I use a layer of towels then vet bed and remove polls three times a day. You may like to read this link

At first I used loose animal bedding. Later I switched to vetbed throughout their cage & fleece throughout their indoor floor time area. With the fabric poops sit on top so you certainly notice them more. but on the other hand I find them easier to remove.

I use fleece and a dust buster is the best thing for getting poops up.
