Am i Sad?!

According to the other half, I'm alittle bit 98) Because i have a separate bowl for the guineas veg, and i stand in the kitchen and chop different veg up every day. He thinks that I'm Barmy!

Does any one else have a veg bowl and do the same?! please say I'm not alone! lol :D ;D
 
my oh thinks i'm a crack pot regarding the guinea pigs, he says they get fed better, and they get more time than him, huh men.
Just because if i take on an animal it is for life, and i give them the best lives possible, he thinks i'm a loon 98), he says most people who have guinea pigs, have them sat in a hutch at the bottom of the garden and feed it dried food, and sling it the odd carrot from time to time, well i'm not most people, and yes i am a little bit over protective, and i do worry (too hot, too cold) He should know me by now after 23 years together.But he never accepts the way i am with animals, jealousy. x That goes for the rest of the animals too, 2 yorkies, 3 rats, i hamster even the fish in the pond x
 
Far from it............i think that all pig lovers do the same as thats what we do when we adore our pigs.They basically are treated like our humun friends except they converse with us in a different language. Actually i understand my piggies and they make more sense to me than my Hubby sometimes ;D ;D ;D

I'm like that with my animals, now with men.....thats another story!
 
Peter thinks I'm mad, 6 different type of veg a day then rotating it so thats 12 veggies over 2 days! I do think I take it too extremes but what can you do they have to eat. Although I'm not as bad as I was. :)

My piggies have the best fruit & veggies and I have the damaged, over-ripe ones :)

So True! I have all the veggies with the brown bits cut off, they get the fresh clean bits! I have the cauli -flower, they get the leaves! I get the end of the celery or brown baby corn to use in my stir fry! I even feel guilty for using their cucumber in my sandwhiches!
 
We now have three pigs and 6 bowls :) one for dry (which is present all day and night in their cage and one for chopped veg ;D I started using a bowl for the veg as I was worried the wee on the bedding would contaminate their food - however, the pigs often drag their food over the bedding to eat it somewhere else... ::)

I chop Gilbert's fresh fruit and veg salad every day.

I have a salad/veg basket in my fridge and its overflowing with their stuff. I also give them a mixture of at least 6 different veg/salad twice a day. I dont think I'm mad at all ;D

my guineas get the two salad drawers in the fridge! And i also get the bad fruit!

Your not alone ! I have seprate bowls , one for food the other for veggies :]
 
I have a veggie bowl too for all three hutches and cages and a seperate bowl for dried mix. They also have their own water bottles and carrot juice bottles. I'm crazy! Peter thinks it should be one piece of veg per day and some mix and hay, he knows nothing! :D

My pigs are better fed than I am but thats cool!I can live on Kitkats :)

We have a veggie rack filled with there veggies and the 2 drawe in the fridge packed with fruit, my dads said he's going to ahve to get a bigger fridge now to fit ours in aswell ;D

I'm glad my parents aren't to bad, my mam remarks there better fed and my dad says i over prepare there veg, cut into nice small chucks rather than throw them in, lol but they basically understand about there health :)
 
i used to cube all there veg and fruit but i tend to just strip the veg now, as i think they tend to use their teeth more!lol

but it still takes me hours, lol!
 
My hubby thinks I am simple where the girls are concerned,they have their own shelf in the fridge,I went mad with him last night as I caught him sneaking a piece of the girls celery
