This one is Lovebug, hes 6 months old, and they say hes really friendly.

I found them on petfinder, they are not really close to my area, and the only ones in my state actually!

I thought they were just too adorable, I would have to wait, but i just thought i would show you how cute they were!

AWW! :smitten: :smitten: really sweet. go for it if you can look after them properly!

They are lovely! If you can get a proper cage sorted then yes go for it.....just make sure you don't have too many to look after if your guinea has babies! O0

I cant believe you! :o

I would not even THINK about that for 4 or 5 months! And if someone saw your cage i very much doubt they would allow you to rehome other pigs in the first place...

You need to wait until you have at least found out if your sow is pregnant! If you cant afford a cage for the pigs you have, why think about rehoming more...in cases like this they are probably better with fosterers, at least they will have some hay and a proper cage! No offence but really...think about the pigs you already have!

Was just about to say that!

You need to wait at LEAST 3 months... your sow is most probably pregnant... so if you et this lotyou wont have time for the babies and mummy pig! Just enjoy the pigs you have for the time being!

I have to agree with what everyone else has said, I would wait a few months to make sure you enough space and everything for another two piggies.

I don't know about US laws and whatnot to be honest. As you will be classed as a breeder.

You should think very carefully about them. Time, space and money wise. You don't want to be over-run with them if you have a couple of pregnant sows

Thats what i said! Did you not read where i said, i would have to wait?

I already said that i would have to wait, i didnt just mean after i fix the cage, i said i would have to wait!

I know i need to wait till i am done with the baby situation, after the pregnancy, labor, birth, and when she has them and some either stay here and other find good homes.

I know what i am equipt (sp?) to handle. I wouldnt go off and get another pig if i wasnt ready to handle it. Thats why i said i have to wait.

No i wouldnt be classed as a breeder, and i only have one sow.

It is true, she did say that. I know her cages that she posted pics of are too small and what not and definately some constructive advice was needed, but are some people not picking on this girl a little? Just my opinion.

HoW SMaLL aRe THeY? iF THeY aRe So SMaLL THeN SHe SHouLDNT Be aBLe To KeeP THaT MaNY.

Thank you,
And everyone is picking on me, and i wanted to come on this board because i wanted to share my love with other people that love them and thought it would be fun and resourceful, but in my 2 day expeience it has not been at all what i expected a forum to be, and i have been on many and none have been this harsh.

I dont think that i will be sharing any of my thoughts or anything in this forum again since eveyone feels the need to bring the hammer down on me, when i clearly stated that i had to wait twice.

This isnt good-bye but i wont be posting very many topics anymore.

If your talking about the cage its a 3x4.5 foot cage with a split in the middle for 2 guinea pigs, 1 on each side.

No, everyone is saying that the cages are small and if they are so small then you shouldnt be able to get more piggies but the cages sound fine to me O0

There is a pic in the photo gallery... the thread is called "is this cage okay?" (i think) :)

if you were thinking about months away why would you pick the guineas now? We are just being honest...

Why would you post that you want more pigs when everyone has already told you that your cage is too small and you yourself have said you are struggling for money to accomodate you pigs? One thing at a time eh? ;D

I just thought you genuinly took in everything you said and it was me that said we should all just drop it and start over then the next day you post saying you are thinking of getting even more! Come on, you knew what the general opinion was! O0

I said i thought they were adorable and wanted to post the pictures but i knew i would have to wait to get more. I didnt say that i was getting more either!

I said i dont have extra money for a cage when i have a 4.5x3 foot cage, well i have 2 of them, the cage isnt too small, it just isnt the style that you like. And thats fine cause its not your cage it is mine.

The cage is too small, badly made and of materials that arent great and i would never put my piggies in this, let alone if they were possibly pregnant and I have a lot of them!

nevermind! I must have read it wrong then :)

The cage is bigger than the guinea pigs cage requirments here in the USA. The cage is not badly made, it has flooring in the bottom, is sealed at the corners, and the materials are good because they werent very cheap and we bought them from Lowe's.

They are gorgeous. :smitten: I don't think I need to say anything as I think you where I stand with this thread. ::)

Hiya and welcome to the forum, I've not been on much for a few days, had rotten flu.

From reading a couple of threads of yours I'm not surprised you feel a bit picked on, some comments are pretty harsh.

Guys, remember that this member is only 14 and new to our forum. I'm not disagreeing AT ALL with any advice that's been given but am just thinking how it must feel to read such relentless posts.

I think your piggies look beautiful. Enough has been said on the cage situation already. :)
