I give both my Finn and Lara the same amount of food everyday. Both get three servings of veggies, pallets and endless supply of hay.
At the end of the day, Lara always has food left over in her food dish. They have separate cages so it is easy to track their food intake.
When Finn was alone, he never had trouble finishing his food. When I adopted Lara from a friend who didn’t want her, I gave her the same amount of food but she never finishes her food.
Boy and girl eat different amount of food so I find myself giving less food to Lara because she can’t finish her food.
I don’t want to give Lara less food, and I would give her the same amount of food if she can finish.
