Amount Of Pellets For 2 Boars 6 Months

So I've read that when a piggy reaches the ripe old age of 6 months, they should only have 1/8 of a cup each per day in pellets. I feed mine burgess excel at the moment. Firstly, I don't know what size cup this is or how I would measure it so does anybody know how much in grams to give 2 boars per day. Also, how would I go about gradually changing from unlimited to a measured amount? Finally, is it a good routine to give their pellets in the morning and give veggies at night (they tend to knock the pellet bowl down the ramp at night!).

there is a bowl called stay bowl that perfectly measures the correct amount of pellets for two piggies,it is non tip.i have found these bowls good,but expensive.the suggested recommended amout in grams is 10 to 20 grams per pig.i do not limit pellets until my piggies are a year old.i think you have a good routine just feeding pellets at a set time of the day.hope you find some knowledgable solutions.

I scatter feed my guinea pigs pellets. Gives them something to do. I put some around their fleece and some in their hay trays.

The youngest who is 4 months gets a handful per day. The others who are almost a year old get half a handful per day.

That's cool. I feel like my boys would just give me the stink eye if their food was anywhere but in their bowl (even though it's fine when they tip it out themselves). They won't eat it off the floor, they are too fussy! x
 
I have no really precise amount of nuggets for my two male boars but I just feed them the quantity of one bowl a day :))
