I have seen multiple bits of information surrounding quantities of veg, pellets and hay all over the place and often wonder the quantities which are generally recommended. I have nine pigs and I feed them veg twice a day (fruit is included in this once a week), four bowls of Pets at Home guinea pig nuggets a day, fresh grass and forage once a week and hay twice a day. What is the general amount per pig for these foods and how often should I be feeding them.
Thanks :)

As above has said!
I have two piggies.
I give about 1/8 cup of pellets each once a day (admittedly it isn’t all that accurately measured but they certainly don’t get a lot of it at all)
A cup of veg each a day but I split it into two feedings, so half a cup each in the morning, and half a cup each in the evening. I tend not to give fruit at all but they will get a carrot as a treat sometimes.
Unlimited hay, which often means I refill their Timothy hay piles about four times a day while making sure the meadow hay as bedding is always fluffed up and not pooped on (they will pick and eat bits of the meadow hay but tend to properly sit and eat through piles and piles of Timothy hay each day!)

For my lot I do roughly one handful of veg per pig (works out at about a cupful) some get a little more, some a little less due to weight or health issues. I give about a tablespoon of pellets per pig per day, some days I skip them and just give a little extra veg or fresh forage. Hay I give in a thick layer over the floor and in big piles etc and they get through 5-6kg of it per week between the 12 of them.

Mine get 4 small handfuls a day of pellets between the 5 of them, as much hay as they can stuff into their mouths each day and veggies at night. They are outside piggies and are on puppy pads and hay in the hutch which they eat constantly and they have hay bales with fresh hay in at all times but they seem to prefer the stuff that they have wee'd and pooped on. Maybe if you are a piggie it tastes better. Who knows? It hasn't done them any harm they are all lovely and healthy.

Hay I give them endlessly so there is no disruption. They tend to munch on hay throughout the day to spend their time.

Veggies I give mine three times a day. My Finn and Lara are indoor piggies so I tend to them whenever I am around them, which is often. I believe it comes to be a big cup of veggies per day for each piggy.

Oxbow Pellets I give them small amount about two to three times a day. I was told I don't have to give them pellets if they get large amount of veggies, but my piggies always had pellets and they love to munch on them.
