Not sure if anyone saw this but on "cops with cameras! last night a drugs raid was featured, they discovered as well as an awful lot of plants@) that they were keeping piggies and using their poop to help grow their plants :{

i use my piggys poop in the garden too (as well as my minipigs poop)!
does wonders for the plants :) i started out throwing it on the compost heap, but then realised its good for the garden too!

The amount of poop my lot have produced this morning could help keep Columbia growing then. Might write to a drug baron and offer their services, wouldn't like to be the postie though.

What a bizarre reason to keep guinea pigs. Presumably they'd be kept in corrrect conditions to optimize poop output. :)):)):))

Do you know, I have actually seen guinea pig poop for sale in tubs on ebay!

I always wondered what it was used for...

:(|) :(|) :(|) :(|) this thread is making me laugh! i quite often chuck the poop on the front garden, although OH doesn't like it as its the first thing anyone sees when they come to the front door, he says it looks awful lol

I give my guinea pig poo to the gent over the raod for his compost heap! now starting to take over the rabbit poo too!

My piggies live in the greenhouse in the winter. I plant tomatoes in there in the summer and the soil is ready-fertilised!

Okay thanks to this thread I just put some on a struggling plant in the garden - watch this space!

With 10 guineas I could supply a small garden centre I'm sure.

This thread is too funny, my boss must be wondering what I'm sniggering at.....now I know why I don't need to pay for lawn treatment, I just leave Blossom, Buttercup and Violet to roam, mow and poop. Thanks for the chuckle today everyone.

No wonder my grass grows so quickly in the summer, lucky I have three, four legged lawnmowers on hand.

Yeah, this thread is pretty funny! But I didn't know they used guinea pig poop to grow things like that! D=
