Adult Guinea Pig
The thought of going into the garden the last few days has just been too painful, knowing I'd see an empty hutch.
Fortunately a very kind friend who came to my house the night Freddie died cleaned the hutch out so I wouldn't have to deal with it.
But tonight I couldn't avoid the garden having to bring my wheely bin in (when I put the bin out this morning I kept my eyes forward and didn't look back).
But what I was greeted with took my breath away...
Earlier in the summer I planted a large pot of sweet peas next to hutch with one set of bamboo canes tied to run parallel with the top of the hutch.
There's been no flowers on them for weeks but tonight ONLY the plants growing above the hutch are COVERED in flowers.
I'll take a picture!
