As the bad weather is coming up I was looking for a way to exercise the piggies. I have a dog so large C&C runs are only good if I keep him out the room, hard he is a demanding little dog.
Anyway in our old house they use to have the whole porch (it was a big porch with lino floor - ideal) to play in. In the new house this is not possible due to the layout.
Anyway we have a large puppy play pen with very narrow bars so the piggies have been using that on towels and fleece but we have just spent near on £2000 getting new carpets so I was concerned about pee coming through. Thought or correx but then its the size and shape issue, the play pen is very large and has 8 sides.
Anyway after some looking through the shed for ideas I found a pic nic blanket with a water proof bottom, machine washable at 60 degrees. BINGO. Its super and I washed it before use and its super quick drying.
We got it last summer for dog walking and it was only £4.99 and has a fleece like top, its also 'pet safe' according to the packet.
I mean I never leave them alone if I can help it but you kow what its like, phone rings, someone comes to the door and so on.
