I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone for their kind messages. I've also received a lot of personal messages and I will reply to them all over the next couple of days.
Yesterday was really hard, taking her to vets to arrange her cremation, cleaning out her cage, but I am trying to look on the positives. Putting aside all the love I got from my special girl, the knowledge and experience that Simon has gained from treating her over the past 20 months is invaluable, and will no doubt go towards helping more piggies in the future.
As soon as I feel up to it I am going to do a tribute to the life of Poppet, with all the funny pictures I have, that show her personality and attitude and the strong bond that she had with her sisters Toffee and Skye!

Debbie - I saw your post on FB about Pops. It's so sad that she's gone, but I hope that she can give Garry the strength to get better. And like you said, Simon has gained a lot of experience from knowing Pops...hopefully something he can now use on Thursday!

Oh Debbie, I've been tied up with work and home stuff over the last few days so haven't logged on. I am so very sorry to hear you have lost your special girl, sleep well Poppet a little piggy who touched so many lives on TGPF.
