Adult Guinea Pig
Some of you may remember, I rescued a silver agouti rex sow, Skye, over summer, and she was causing the piggy herd to have a few disagreements, particularly between her and Nova!
I came to the decision to rehome her, as she was upsetting everypig and nobody was settled. She was being left out, bullied away from the food bowl, and having to sleep all alone. I had planned to rehome her after Christmas, as I didn't want to before Christmas in case she ended up in the wrong hands.
Well, last week, I was home from uni, and I was shocked - every morning, Nova and Skye were cuddled up in the pigloo! They are noe sharing veggies and pellets, and even playing together with their treat ball! I watched all week to check it wasn't a one off - but it isn't! They are now the best of friends.
I'm happy to say, Skye is staying! x)
