an update from us (an essay, sorrry!)

its been a hectic time for me since my pigs gave birth! anyway here are the pictures i promised you all. at 2 days old

delboy and bailey are going to their new home next week with my auntie, i havent got any recent pics so il take some later. they will be renamed fizz (bailey) and fro (delboy)

then on news years day i was browsing preloved (as you do) and found 3 4 month old females free to good homes as the children have given up on them. so i contacted the lady and picked them up about an hour later. they are:

holly, ivy and belle didnt really have names so i gave them christmassy ones!

after a check up with the vet who said they are all healthy i put them in with sherry, shandy and brandy

and they have all took to each other straight away. the new girls are a little bit shy, but il soon change that! i only managed to get three to sit still!

very cute! how many piggies do you have now i think i got lost somewhere along the line! lol
 
AWWW - your babies have grown into stunning cuddle pigs!

Good on you for taking those sweet girls on. Ivy looks so much like my sadly missed Mischief that it gave a pang! I am glad that they are forming a happy big girl group. I'm sure they will learn quickly from the others - my newbies did!

i now have 10! well 12 until fizz and fro leave next week!

in cage 1 we have johnny and jingle (father and son)
cage 2 wonda and cheeky (the old girls)
and the rest of the shed belongs to sherry, shandy, brandy, holly, ivy and belle!

i blame my boyfriend for buying me a massive shed! (12ftx10ft!)

i think i need to stop now lol rolleyes
 
AWWW they are so cute! I love that you have 10 and a big shed. I'm supposed to be getting a shed next year and I can see how hat would tempt me to up my numbers - but MUST BE STRONG!

Good for you taking on the three girls, they are sweet.
 
thanks everyone! i dont want dellboy and bailey to go! 8... but i can see them anytime i want because my aunt only lives 2 streets away!
 
It's not easy to let your babies go, but at least you will be able to see them regularly.

I had to give up my babies due to circumstances and have never heard of them after they had been rehomed. That was the hardest bit, especially after their mummy died.
