An update

So as many of you know, I'm moving (in 9 days!) and there was a question about whether or not I could take Comet and Blitzen with me. I got the answer a couple of weeks ago, and sadly it was a no.

I've done my yelling and being upset about the whole thing. I'm sorry to say goodbye to them, they were a great pair and someday I'm hoping someone else will have as much entertainment and companionship out of them as I did. They are currently at Cavy Corner being well cared for and I was given a list of things potential owners would need to go through to take my darlings home with them, as much to reassure me as anything else. I have no doubt they'll go to a loving home.

On the funny side of things, they are apparently behaving themselves very well at Cavy Corner, no squabbling, no antics, nothing. I'm not sure I believe it tbh, I'm not sure they actually know what "good behaviour" is.


I'll still be about on the forums, don't worry you don't get rid of me that easily. But I still won't be about much til after I've moved. I should probably consider packing some more...

Oh Lorcan I'm so very sorry to hear that you can't take Comet and Blitzen with you! You tried your best but sometimes these things are not to be.

I'm sorry Lorcan that you are having to rehome your piggies.i do not think some persons do not understand what a good experience of having pets help.Especially persons with mental health issues,or persons living alone.i hope the move goes with out any hitches.

I’m so sorry that you can’t take them with you they certainly are piggies with big personalities. It’s a shame they’re not girls otherwise I would have snapped they up to live with my two.

But Sue and Winston will make sure they go to a lovely new home and keep you updated.

Lorcan I am sorry this is not the way it should have worked out but those boys will find a new home in no time with a piggy slave who loves them almost as much as you do and I am sure they will be spoiled and happy. I hope the move goes well and you settle into your new home

I'm so sorry you can't take Blitzen & Comet with you, Lorcan. As someone has said, people with mental illness benifit from having a pet. Hope you love your new home.
