Well I saw a free ad for 2 peruvian sows who being sold as the left overs of a breeder. So we went to see them and I just couldn't resist. She was finished breeding them and they are 2 1/2. So they needed a home to love and cuddlle them. As of now they don't have names so we must think of 2 food related names for them. Here they are:

I've been wondering who you were on here for days....:)):)):))

gorgeous piggies and poor little things being used as breeding machines hope you give them lots of love and fuss

AWWW - gorgeous girls, and so happy to get a good and happy home!

for the one on the left i thought of chocolate milk (chocolate face, bottom half is the milk) but it might be too long of a name..

what about the name of a chocolatey food?
Galaxy
Eclair
Bournville
Bounty (brown + white)

It's a little early for imagination, but that's a start

They are really stunning and look forward to hearing the new names. Glad they found a good home and can have some rest now.

They were NOT the leftovers from my breeding. If you want to come on a foruma and slag me off fine but don't come round to my house and pretend to be nicey nicey.

Daleksarah, having two litters several months apart isn't being used as a breeding machine, its perfectly natural behaviour otherwise the species would die out.

The home they had here was good and happy. They have been rehomed to someone I thought could provide them with more attention than I could.

See above.

Forum comments like this really annoy me. I used to breed my guineas and all were well looked after and had two litters only. I only rehome them privately and have never passed them on to pet shops. While here they received the best care and food and were kept warm and happy so don't make out you did them a favour by taking them away from a nasty breeder.

By the way, my offer, given to all who buy or rehome guineas from me still stands, if at anytime you can't keep them I will take them back. People who have bought pigs from me previously still keep in contact and ask me if they need any advice or help.

I am very glad that you are so responsible with your piggies. Sadly, we all too often see the horrific results from people who breed just for money or from sheer ignorance, and without regards to the animals' wellbeing.

Annoyingly for you, they often announce via freeads as well, and what we usually find when a member goes and picks up a piggy from one of them, they are so often in a very bad state of neglect and/or illness. It's good to know that there are others!

Oh Claire I am so sorry if the way I worded it caused offense hun. I really didn't mean to. I am well aware that you are a responsible breeder and I didn't say anything wrong about you or your breeding.

Don't be annoyed, I wasn't being all nicey nicey to come on here and slag you off. I didn't lie, they have been bred and are therefor left overs of your breeding. I just put it simply, I know you wanted them to have more attention and I would have corrected people if I'd had time to see all the responses.

Some people just assume that all breeders are the same, it's not fair but it's just life, people make assumptions.

I am sorry if you took offense and I should have worded it better but I just wanted to put some pics of these gorgeous girls on here for my friends to see. I hope when you have a chance to calm down you see that there was no personal attack here and accept my appology for how it was worded.

By the way, we went to P@H on the way home from yours and bought them a Rabbit 120 to live inside with us until they are used to us and they are settling in brilliantly. I will post when we have decided on names for them.

What gorgeous and happy looking piggy's you have there. Bet they will enjoy your company and your other piggy's company. I'm not very good at naming animals and always ask others for help, maybe you could google chocolate types on the net and may find some unusually ones on there? :)

Fletch - Please don't take offence of how logibear worded her post I'm sure she didn't mean it in the way you took it. She was just so excited on having 2 new piggy's and just wanted to upload photos as soon as she had them. I know that some breeders do look after there animals and they are not just used to breeding machines. But as Wiebke said we unfortunately always hear bad things about breeders and good breeders like yourself who are responsible don't get a look in when it comes to the story situations. I hope that you haven't taken offence and can now see that it wasn't a attack on you personally. I do also think that if it wasn't for you breeders we wouldn't have any rescue pigs to adopt as some people buy from breeders and then give the pigs to a rescue as there children 'get bored' or they cannot cope and like you said if guineas pigs didn't reproduce then we wouldn't have any piggy's left in this world.

They are very very cute. Got to love the peruvians.

We have 9 now too so snap!

I'm not so good with the names but I bet you choose cool ones for them
