Hello again everyone.

Just noticed that Baby is limping a little on her lower left paw and doesn't hold it like she does the rest. She does put weight on it sometimes but only if she's moving slowly and she moves very gingerly on it.

Here you can see how she holds it. The toes are not spread like the rest of her paws.

I've been rubbing it after seeing related posts about spranes and she doesn't seem to be in pain, she's been a lot more sociable with us today (we only got her yesterday) and has turned into a little eating-machine.

Calling vet in morning but its driving me crazy!

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance x>>

Oh poor baby. I wonder if she has broken her toe. I hope you can see a vet as soon as possible.

Hi when i first got Charlie (which was only 3 weeks ago and he is still a baby) he was holding his leg up and limping he was like it for a day or 2 but was alright after that keep us all posted on how they are getting along :)

Thanks everyone so far, going to call vet when they open in the morning and see what they say, will update. Hopefully it's nothing serious and she's just hurt herself mildly, like we all do, I stubbed my toe earlier :x, and it'll go away by itself, but I'd rather not risk it.

Thaaaaank you x>>

Took Baby to the vet today as she was still limping this morning but I've been told by the vet that as she is putting some weight on it, doesn't seem to be in any pain and is still eating and drinking, to keep an eye on her, massage her leg, ankle and foot and keep it up with the vet bedding and heat pad as it seems to be helping. He doesn't think there is a dislocation or break, circulation to the foot is fine also so she may just have caught it and it's sore etc.

If she doesn't get better in a few days or if she gets worse, I'll take her back again for pain relief and x-rays etc...

If she doesn't get better but it doesn't get worse either and they can't find any problems via x-ray or other diagnostics, he said it might be a deformity she's learnt to cope with from birth as I found out she was the runt of her litter...

If that's the case then I don't know what can be done - just a shock when you see a piggy limping or dragging a foot and you don't know why! You think all-sorts!

Thanks again everyone xoxo
