After a week of syringe feeding and 5 different medications there hasn't been an improvement for Midge. So after speaking to a very nice vet we're going down the x-ray option to see what is going on in her bladder. There has been intermittent blood spotting when weeing. I'm increasing her metacam to 0.3ml twice a day and fortunately because it's half term next week I'm able to give her some intensive feeding hopefully to build up her weight. Depending on the x-ray we have to decide what to do. If a stone is found then the option of an operation comes to mind. I cant really let Midge go on as she is - pain and discomfort and continued syringe feeding. I'm in the mind I would rather to have tried everything for Midge than just let her deteriorate and keep thinking 'what if'. Midge is 6 now and as much as we (daughter and me) would be devastated I don't see I have much choice. She goes in Wednesday.

Good luck Wednesday. You are doing everything you can, lots of love and cuddles to Midge. Will keep her in our thoughts.... x x
