How absolutely adorable they are, with their pretty patterns and colours. Well done for rescuing these two lovely girls.
And welcome to the forum! There will always be someone here to help if you ever have any questions or problems.
Are these your first guinea pigs?
Thanks , yes they are my first , Ive had cats , rabbits , gerbils , mice in the past but these are real characters :-) Still getting to know me , our house is busy as I'm a childminder but they seem to be settling well
The names were given to them at the rescue centre , I thought we might change them , and let my son who is 8 choose them , and we went for Abbie and Ellie , but we keep calling by their original names so its not really working out too well , I suspect we might end up keeping the old names :-)
East hunsbury rescue and rehome , northampton , a lovely lady who gets hardly any funding but does it for the love of piggies
Thanks I'll take a look
I've noticed them fighting a bit today just nips and squeaks , I guess it's normal even for sisters
Good luck with your new buddies. "Nips and squeaks" are quite common even among litter maters, but I would suggest you keep an eye on them for a while. Hopefully they are just acclimatising to the new surroundings and environment.
