Angel gained her wings today

My long term foster piggy Angel had to be helped over to the Rainbow Bridge today. Angel was a very special piggy with neurological disabilities. She was a very happy and contented piggy despite her disabilities. She was a quietly confident little character who was loved by all of us in the rescue and while with us she lived indoors in luxury on thick vet fleece and with her own special Hay Pigs house. She loved grass time and would do almost anything for a dandelion leaf or a slice of cucumber.
Angel had been well until her sudden decline with heart failure. She will be missed by us all, but especially by Felix who Was so gentle with her.

Really sorry to see this post, rip Angel. Take care Vicki. She was in on e of the best pair of hands, must have had,A great life.
 
Oh no that is such a shock, so so sorry for your loss 😪 Now she is a true little angel.
 
I am so sorry! Angel couldn't have had a better and happier life with you, but no longer having her around is going to be hard.

RIP beautiful piggy! When I had to help Velvet cross the Rainbow Bridge last week I found a plant called "Angel Wings" that had velvety leaves and buried her under it in a lovely pot. Maybe you could do the same.
 
I am so sorry Vicki, but how wonderful that sweet Angel got to live out her remaining days in a comfortable and loving home with you and Felix.

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Angel. She seems to have had a wonderful life whilst with you, despite her medical difficulties, and I can only imagine that the decision to show her the final kindness was made with deep love and compassion. I hope Felix and you can come to terms with a new "normal" though I know she will be much missed. ❤🥒 ❤
