just a quick update if anyone is interested. angel is still with me:) much to the amazement of my vet. the tumour is getting really big but he assured me that she still is in no pain. she has to wriggle around to get comfy but she is eating and drinking well still. i got a few nice photos of her and harry the other day - something i will treasure when she has gone. they were trying out a larger version of the cosy cups which as you can see can easily fit 2 or 3 pigs in - maybe even more. this had been made for a rabbit but you can't actually tell how big it is from the photo below.

Bless her x) x)

Lovely to see your beautiful girl enjoying herself. They look like they've been up to mischief in the 2nd photo.

I panic each time this thread is updated. Thank goodness she is still well and not in pain. She is such a beautiful girl. She looks happy too.

the first thing i do when i get up each morning is check on her. i take a deep breath and pick her up expecting it to be her last day. i know it will come sooner rather than later but each day she is given is a blessing. she is so gentle considering how ill treated she was. she really is a special little girl:)

It must be so hard for you. Angel is such a special girl and has such a special mum in you.

Oh my word she is the double of my Petal Pig

I am so sorry :( Rex piggies are the most friendly lovely piggies ever I adore them & would be heartbroken if I lost mine. Petal has been poorly lately & has cost me upwards of £500 + in vet fees since Christmas as she is suffering from chronic Cystitis, thickened bladder & uterine walls & an ovarian cyst :( She had gut stasis just after a bladder flush & a week of antibiotics, so I have had x-rays & ultrasound done & she is on long term meds to keep her comfortable. It's horrible when they get so poorly. Treasure every day you have together x

If anyone is interested? Course we are, so glad you are still enjoying precious time with your beautiful girl xx

petal is gorgeous. i hope she is feeling better now. they are such a worry aren't they. unfortunately a guinea pigs life is not long enough for us, especially when it is cut short. i cherish every cuddle as if it is going to be my last - i know only too well that i will not have her for much longer but at least she has had a lovely 6 months or so with us instead of all the years of cruelty she had to deal with before.

well here i am again - and i've still got gorgeous angel:) i don't think she's ready to leave me yet. she has finally got somewhere decent to live and isn't giving up easily.
here she is trying out her lovely new bed

and here she is with harry watching over her - perfect for valentines day:)

Wow she is doing so well and looking as beautiful as ever. It is lovely to see her and her boyfriend. :)

Awwww beautiful Angel x) x) so glad she is still doing well.

So pretty and I love you cat in the pic poking out their tongue :)) !

that's Grace. she was dumped in a box with another kitten. i was walking my dogs and when i got back to the car the box had been dumped by the side of the car

She is very like my Smartie (who died last year). Please give Angel a cuddle from me.

Aww thanks for sharing such lovely Pics, I'm going through the same thing, I found a lump while bathing Biscuit so hes going to the vets tomorrow, its next to his nipple, I'm hoping and praying its a fatty lump but by doing research on here and online Ive got a feeling its gonna be a tumour, big hugs x

angel is just the same. she's eating and drinking as normal but she is finding it increasingly more uncomfortable to lie down. it takes her a while manouvering around before she settles. BUT i still have her and she's not in pain so while we are at this point it's good. she was given approx 2 weeks and i think sh'e almost at 5 weeks now so every day is a blessing

Shes a fighter and doesnt want to give up yet, Well the vet thinks biscuit has been bitten my one of the other boys and its a trauma wound, he does tend to try and hump the other boys sometimes in the head so its possible hes been bitten there, she lanced it and got all the goo out with a needle and he didnt cry or anything, was a very good boy, we have been given antibiotics and anti inflammatory, so fingers crossed it will heal, feel better now, sending our love to you and angel x

i'm amazed and obviously pleased too:). she is so gentle, it just seems so unfair after the horrible life she had. she came to me and trusted me almost instantly. she is a very special girl

Aww thanks for the new pics and i'm very pleased to see she is still enjoying life!

she seems completely oblivious and she certainly isn't in pain so we just keep carrying on:)
